Lay Summary

This research is intended to examine the ways in which elevated placebo response can confound clinical study findings. In this proposal, I will specifically examine the Anoro Exercise program, which demonstrated inconsistent study results between two trials. The inconsistency was reported in the placebo arms of the studies.
